The biblical leader climbs down, not up. Mark 10:42-45

Five marks of a biblical leader, the qualities that grow around them, the threats that quietly erode them, and one Sunday morning to practice on. About thirty minutes on your own, an hour with a team. Every passage is one tap away.

Running this with a group? Here is a 60-minute plan.
0:00
Open. Pray, then read Mark 10:42-45 aloud. Ask the room what climbing down looks like on your team. 5 min.
0:05
LEADS. Walk the five steps together. Everyone rates themselves privately; nobody shares a number. 15 min.
0:20
Qualities. Each person tags one strength and one growth edge, then trades with a neighbor. 10 min.
0:30
Threats. Run the Threat Radar on a screen and vote as a room. Talk about the one closest to home. 10 min.
0:40
Role play. Switch to Group mode. Talk each scene out before anyone taps. 15 min.
0:55
Take it with you. Everyone writes one commitment and one person to invest in, then saves the card. Close in prayer. 5 min.

Take it with you

Your pocket card is built from what you did here: your LEADS shape, the qualities you tagged, the threats you named, and how the Sunday morning went. Add two lines and keep it.

Prefer email? Send the card to yourself.

Scripture links open in a new tab on Bible Gateway (ESV). Your answers stay on this page until you leave it. Use Take it with you to keep them.
